OUR policies

An MP must live in their constituency for a minimum of three years before standing for office, ensuring they genuinely understand the community they seek to represent. Politics should be rooted in lived experience, not parachuted in from the outside.

every mp must know how to pour a pint

Every MP should be able to pour a proper pint; not as a gimmick, but as a symbol of connection to everyday Britain. Representation means understanding the places people actually spend their time, not just the corridors of Westminster.

5 new public holidays

‘National Lie Down Day’ - A sacred 24 hours where productivity is illegal and everyone collectively agrees to horizontalism. Shops stay open, but only if the staff are lying on the floor. Meetings must be conducted prone.

‘National Beige Food Day’ - A tribute to the culinary palette of the nation. Only beige foods are permitted: chips, nuggets, sausage rolls, questionable buffet items. Vegetables are technically allowed, but only if fried beyond recognition.

‘National Bin Day Panic Day’ - You hear a bin lorry in the distance and sprint outside in mild chaos. Entire nation experiences this simultaneously. Some bins are wrong. No one recovers.

‘National Gammon Day’ - A proud celebration of people who are permanently furious about things that don’t affect them. Flags appear everywhere, Facebook becomes unreadable, and someone, somewhere, is shouting about “common sense” with absolutely none of it present.

‘National Big Light Amnesty Day’ - For one day only, you’re allowed to put the big light on without being judged. It still feels wrong. It always feels wrong.

Government contracts will be awarded based on a national transparency score, prioritising companies that operate openly and responsibly. Public money should go to organisations that can be clearly scrutinised, not those that operate in the dark.

Fines will be scaled to company turnover, ensuring penalties are meaningful rather than a minor cost of doing business. Accountability should have real impact, regardless of a company’s size.

FINES WILL BE PROPORTIONATE TO COMPANY TURNOVER, NOT POCKET CHANGE

POLITICAL DEEPFAKES WILL BE CRIMMINALISED

The creation and distribution of political deepfakes will be made a criminal offence, protecting the integrity of elections and public debate. Democracy depends on a shared understanding of reality, not fabricated versions of it.

A central public portal will be established to track, correct, and archive misleading political claims, providing clear, accessible updates when information is proven false. Accountability shouldn’t depend on news cycles, but instead should be built into the system.
